Do you think space travel is important? Is it
worth the lives of these astronauts? Are the
risks worth the benefits? Tell me what you
think . . .

mrs.lucero i think it is worth it and it is not worth it at the same time. i think that because it might be fun but it can also be dangerous. it can be dangerous because you know how the two rocetships that crashed that is why it can be dangerous. but it can be fun if nothing happens.

I think being a asternot is not worth the lives of others. And why would you want to live in space God created the earth for a reason.

I am a parent of one of your students. I am not sold on the risk or the money that is involved in the shuttle program. Is it the best way to spend our tax dollars? I do realize that those scientists are passionate about what they are doing and I believe they know the risk they are taking. If they were my family member, I doubt I would be thrilled they were out there. I think it is quite a sacrafice for what purpose? By the way..... I LOVE that you do this for the kids. No wonder you are Teacher of the year. Congratulations!!!!!!
